Location:

North Alabama Medical Center, Florence, AL (263‑bed facility, open‑heart surgery, women & children services, imaging services, certified Chest Pain Center, Primary Stroke Center of Excellence).

Job Type: PRN (part‑time, on‑call) reporting to the Director of Radiology and Department Supervisor.

• Perform MRI procedures per professional standards and physician orders.
• Provide patient education and administer contrast media.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes during imaging.
• Operate imaging equipment, adjusting protocols as needed.
• Ensure high‑quality imaging results and address image quality concerns promptly.
• Maintain patient safety and comply with regulatory requirements.

• Two (2) years of education:
  Certificate, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree.
• Graduate of an approved program in radiologic technology, with current licensure.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Radiology; MRI board certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
