AboutThe Role
At Remedy Behavioral Health, we believe mental health care should be compassionate, individualized, and delivered with excellence. Our team is expanding in the Florence region, and we are seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) who is passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families through evidence-based care that honors the whole person. The LMFT will provide outpatient therapy services to a diverse caseload, including individuals, couples, and families.
You will work closely with our clinical team, therapy leadership, and administrative staff to ensure clients receive high-quality care and a seamless overall experience. This is a full‑time, salaried position based in our Florence, AL outpatient clinic.
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy using evidence‑based practices
- Develop, implement, and update treatment plans tailored to client goals
- Complete timely, accurate documentation in our EMR (Practice Fusion)
- Work collaboratively with therapists, NPs, administrative staff, and leadership
- Participate in clinical team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development
- Maintain compliance with all internal clinical policies and Alabama regulatory standards
- Help foster a culture of patient‑centered, trauma‑informed care

- Active LMFT license in the state of Alabama (required)
- Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy or related field
- Experience in outpatient or similar clinical environments preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
- Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and cultural competence
- Ability to maintain timely documentation and manage a structured caseload
