Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Respiratory Manager located in Florence, AL. The Respiratory Manager will oversee the daily operations of the respiratory care department, managing and supervising a team of respiratory therapists. Responsibilities include developing and implementing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, training and mentoring staff, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

The role involves monitoring equipment maintenance, managing departmental budgets, and evaluating staff performance to ensure optimal service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills
  • Experience in respiratory care practices, ensuring compliance with medical and safety standards
  • Proficient in training, mentoring, and leading a team of healthcare professionals
  • Proven ability to develop and implement department policies and procedures
  • Knowledge in budget management and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
  • State licensure in respiratory care and certification such as CRT or RRT
  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field, with advanced certifications highly desirable
  • Previous experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting is a plus
