Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in neurological surgery
• Valid and unrestricted surgical license in the respective state/province
• Proven experience in complex neurological surgical procedures
• Strong knowledge of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and surgical techniques
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting
• Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Competency in utilizing modern surgical technologies and equipment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Board certification in neurological surgery or a related specialty
• Research or teaching experience in neurosurgery
• Familiarity with image-guided and minimally invasive surgical techniques
• Experience working in diverse healthcare environments or institutions

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 3-5 years of post-residency experience in neurological surgery
• Active state licensure and board certification preferred

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel as required for conferences, training, or specialty procedures
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
• Participation in ongoing professional development and continuing education programs
