Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by site;
Monitor access points and help to control entry to restricted areas by verifying credentials, directing visitors, and reporting unauthorized access attempts;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and local responders as needed;
Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and other documentation, and communicate security-related observations to the appropriate contacts
