- Treat each customer with respect and kindness, ensuring each interaction delivers on the SP+ Promise.
- Be punctual, in uniform, and ready to assist customers every scheduled day.
- Count the “bank” of revenue at the beginning of each shift to ensure the starting total is correct.
- Collect cash and/or validations, maintaining the security of cash.
- Make change, issue receipts or tickets, and compute or re‑compute bills for each transaction.
- Operate the cash register, calculating costs and displaying customer transaction amounts.
- Quote prices for parking services and provide directions to city locations.
- Complete lost ticket forms when original tickets cannot be located.
- Resolve customer complaints quickly and efficiently, consulting a supervisor when needed.
- Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness of the booth and surrounding area.
- Conduct inventory checks for work aids and supplies.
- Verify the log of shift transactions against the revenue bank.
- Compile the collected revenue during the day and prepare shift reports.
- Record amounts received, cars in/out of the facility, and any cars left, if applicable.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Education and Experience: Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
Availability: Availability for 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends may be required based on local hiring needs.
License: Only a valid state‑issued driver’s license is required if the employee is expected to drive a company vehicle or conduct company business.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and make change using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple correspondence and present information effectively in one‑on‑one or small group situations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense to standard written or oral instructions and handle problems with a few concrete variables.

Skills:
Ability to use a clock, calculator or credit card machine; maintain a pleasant demeanor on the telephone and in public; handle customer complaints.
Physical Demands: Required to sit, use hands, walk, and reach; close vision required.
Salary Range$15.00 per hour
