Coffee Shop Manager; Ministry-Focused Café

We are a unique, ministry-focused cafe and venue located on a college campus in the heart of Flint, Michigan. Our mission is twofold: to provide excellent craft coffee and clean entertainment in a warm, welcoming environment—and to serve as a vibrant hub for Christian outreach and discipleship.

We are seeking a hands-on, spiritually grounded leader (coffee lover is a bonus) to manage daily operations while living out a heart for relational ministry. This role is ideal for someone who sees business as mission and wants to serve people deeply while running a high-quality, community-rooted café.

• Oversee and actively participate in daily shop operations (coffee prep, food, cleanliness, ordering, etc.)
• Recruit, schedule, train, and lead a team of baristas and support staff
• Create a consistent, high-quality customer experience
• Be a relational presence: offering prayer, encouragement, seeking Christ focused conversations and spiritual care Machines arise
• Maintain inventory, vendor relationships, and cost controls
• Support our vision of being a safe, alcohol-free, spiritually uplifting space
• Collaborate with local churches, student ministries, and other partners for outreach

• A vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Leadership or management experience (formal or informal)
• Experience in coffee shops, restaurants, or hospitality settings preferred
• Clear, compassionate communication skills
• A heart for evangelism and relational ministry
• Self-motivated, dependable, and adaptable
• Comfortable working directly with people from diverse backgrounds (especially students)

  Commensurate with experience; housing stipend/ministry support potential for the right candidate
