Join Fellowship of Christian Athletes as an Area Representative and help bring the faith to life in local sports environments. The Representative works with the Director and Advisory Team to implement the ministry plan for a specific region while upholding the FCA Vision, Mission, and Values.
Responsibilities- Agree with and abide by FCA's Christian Community Statement.
- Maintain a personal spiritual rhythm: daily prayer, Bible study, and seeking God's will.
- Lead, conduct, and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship, and lived example.
- Participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
- Conduct oneself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs.
- Engage, equip, and empower coaches and athletes through 1‑on‑1 sessions, huddles, and events.
- Train and equip staff and volunteers so that coaches and athletes become disciples who make disciples within the sports environment.
- Oversee recruiting, training, and developing effective and diverse volunteers who lead every coach and athlete toward a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Recruit highly qualified volunteers for the sports environments.
- Provide tools, resources, and training to develop volunteers’ skills and increase their capacity and competence.
- Prepare volunteers in their roles, helping them grow spiritually and personally.
- Invite, involve, and invest in an Advisory Team committed to prayer, service, and giving.
- Connect, communicate, and care for existing and prospective financial partners to obtain full funding.
- Manage and steward the finances for the assigned area of responsibility.
- Establish and execute an annual budget and funding plan by growing the Home Team, major donors, and events.
- Work with the Director to serve the aligned International Region through prayer, giving, and outbound ministry.
- Strong commitment to Christian faith and biblical principles.
- Experience in spiritual leadership, coaching, or volunteer management.
- Ability to engage and develop teams of coaches and volunteers.
- Financial stewardship experience and budget planning skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
- Willingness to live out FCA values through daily practice.
