We are seeking a reliable, detail-driven Post-Harvest Technician to support the critical stages of cannabis production following harvest. This role is essential to ensuring product quality, consistency, and regulatory compliance from drying through final packaging.

Ideal candidates have prior experience in cannabis post-harvest operations or other highly controlled agricultural, manufacturing, or regulated production environments. Success in this role requires precision, accountability, and the ability to consistently follow documented procedures.

Core Responsibilities Post-Harvest Operations
  • Execute drying, curing, trimming, and packaging processes in accordance with established SOPs and quality standards.
  • Maintain product integrity by monitoring environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, airflow) throughout drying and curing cycles.
  • Perform hand trimming and/or operate trimming equipment to meet presentation, weight, and consistency standards.
  • Safely operate, clean, and maintain post-harvest tools and equipment to ensure efficiency and product quality.
Compliance & Quality Control
  • Adhere strictly to all state and internal cannabis regulations governing post-harvest handling.
  • Accurately document batch numbers, weights, processing dates, and chain-of-custody data.
  • Identify, report, and properly handle quality issues such as mold, mildew, contamination, or product defects.
  • Maintain audit‑ready records and follow corrective actions as required.
Inventory & Documentation
  • Label, store, and track product according to compliance and inventory protocols.
  • Assist with reconciliation of post-harvest inventory and report discrepancies immediately.
  • Support traceability and compliance systems as required by regulation.
Team & Facility Standards
  • Work collaboratively with cultivation, processing, and quality teams to ensure seamless transitions between production stages.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment at all times.
  • Follow safety protocols and participate in routine cleaning and sanitation procedures.
Continuous Improvement
  • Provide operational feedback to cultivation and leadership teams regarding product quality and process improvements.
  • Demonstrate adaptability to evolving procedures, production volumes, and regulatory updates.
Required Qualifications Experience
  • 1+ year of hands‑on experience in cannabis post‑harvest, cultivation, or a comparable regulated production environment strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience with trimming, curing, drying, and packaging cannabis products highly preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong understanding of post‑harvest best practices and quality standards.
  • Ability to follow written SOPs precisely and consistently.
  • High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, production‑driven environment.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures and humidity levels typical of post‑harvest environments.
Compliance Requirements
  • Must pass all required background checks and maintain eligibility to work in a regulated cannabis facility.
Work Schedule & Environment
  • Full‑time role:
    40–50 hours per week
  • Schedule may include evenings, weekends, or holidays based on production needs
  • Fast‑paced production environment with strict cleanliness and safety expectations
