Assembler, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Overview

• Must be able to use large bandsaw.
• Lift 50 lbs consistently. Up to 30 times an hour.
• Able to use a nail gun
• Work in a loud industrial type environment.
• Work any shift and overtime as required.
• Be on time

• Must be able to rotate through all tasks in the assembly process and contribute to team effort in order to complete production.
• Adhere to housekeeping and visual management standards (5S).
• Adhere to health and safety requirements and procedures.
• Assemble parts and assemblies to complete finished product within the allotted timeframe.
• Adhere to standardized work instructions and quality requirements.
• Adhere to quality and production standards.
• Propose potential quality or productivity enhancements i.e. continuous improvements.
• Report production issues and assist in resolution as required.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or department manager.

• MUST know how to use power tools Nail Guns, Circular Saws, Etc. If they have done roofing they will be a perfect fit.
• Follow basic level of lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective problem solving and decision making skills.
• Self-motivated and task orientated.
• Strong team player.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.

• Full Range of Motion (ability to bend and twist while moving parts).
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (8 – 10 hours per day).
• Ability to lift parts from 50 lbs.
