Janitor, Maintenance​/Cleaning, Cleaning Services

We are looking for janitorial staff to join our growing team - This position will float between one of our 40 care homes in Genesee County deep‑cleaning our homes and facilities.

• Perform deep cleaning of all areas within AFC homes, including resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and hallways
• Operate and maintain floor scrubbers, carpet extractors, and other cleaning equipment
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, strip, wax, and buff floors as required
• Sanitize high‑touch surfaces and disinfect all areas to control the spread of bacteria and viruses
• Empty and dispose of trash and recyclables appropriately
• Report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor promptly
• Follow all health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and company cleaning standards

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior supervisory experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Previous custodial/janitorial experience (preferred)
