A PMC Works client is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to support the oversight of adult foster care (AFC) homes in Genesee County. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible leadership support role that works closely with behavioral health, psychology, and direct care teams to ensure regulatory compliance, quality of care, and excellence in documentation and resident services.

Base pay range

$50,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

What You’ll Do

You will play a key role in maintaining operational and clinical excellence across multiple residential programs by ensuring documentation accuracy, staff training, and behavioral plan compliance.

Core Responsibilities
  • Review daily resident documentation for accuracy and completeness (SDRs, progress notes, hygiene charts, ABC charts, token charts, inclusion logs, and more)
  • Track and document staff training and documentation compliance
  • Review and approve monthly documentation and submit to FIN by the 10th of each month
  • Create, update, and revise resident SDRs as new residents move in or plans change
  • Maintain documentation error and training trackers
  • Conduct staff in‑services on all resident plans (IPOS, BTPs, OT plans, and behavior support plans)
  • Ensure all new hires and current staff are trained on current and updated plans
  • Notify teams when plans are approaching expiration and follow through until updated plans are received
  • Track plan expirations and in‑service completion dates
  • Support Psychologists, LLPs, and BCBAs in implementing and monitoring Positive Behavior Support Plans
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience working in AFC, group homes, or residential care homes or behavioral health organizations is preferred
  • Strong understanding of documentation compliance and behavioral health plans
  • Ability to train, coach, and support direct care staff
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working across multiple locations
  • Strong communication and follow-through
