ResponsibilitiesAs a Direct Care Worker/Direct Support Professional with Alternative Services, Inc. (ASI), you will join a team that provides 24-hour care, 365 days a year in a small group home setting (Adult Foster Care home) and supports adults with disabilities.
- Assist in a variety of daily living activities, including personal care (hygiene, basic health, and administering medication).
- Handle cleaning, cooking, and shopping tasks.
- Serve as an advocate and role model in all interactions with persons served.
- Support participation in leisure activities at home and in the community while respecting rights, dignity, property, and privacy.
- Be a reliable, compassionate presence and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment.
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, possess a valid Michigan Driver's license, and have excellent moral character.
