Position Summary

Provides respiratory care services to patients who require emergency care, intensive care, therapeutic treatment, invasive and non-invasive monitoring, diagnostic testing and patient education for pulmonary and cardiopulmonary disorders. Monitors and maintains equipment and participates in quality assurance and improvement activities.

• Required:
  
  Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through NBRC or Registry Eligible, or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with successful completion of the Registry examination within one year
• BCLS certification
• Licensed through the Michigan Board of Respiratory Care

• 6 months to 1 year of job-related experience
