Position Summary
Responsible for providing basic nursing care and specific nursing functions within the Emergency Department under the direction of the registered nurse. ERTs will complete a basic arrhythmia class with a minimum score of 80% on the written test within two attempts. Additionally, they must satisfactorily complete competency testing for IV and urinary catheter placement.
Schedule- Department:
Emergency Room - Shift: Days
- Daily Work Times: 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- Scheduled Bi-Weekly
Hours:
72 - On‑Call:
No - Weekends:
No - Hours Per Pay Period: 72
- Requisition :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- BCLS certification.
- Licensure as an Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic.
- Minimum of six months Emergency Department or EMT experience.
