We’re working with a leading domiciliary provider who is looking for a warm, driven, and reliable Optical Assistant to join their friendly team. You’ll be delivering compassionate, patient-focused eye care in care homes and patients’ own homes
—bringing vital services directly to those who need them most.

• Monday to Friday – generally 8:30am to 5:30pm with flexible start and end times
• No weekends
• Company car provided or car allowance
• Competitive basic salary – £25,882
• Strong bonus structure
• 28 days annual leave + your birthday off
• Full training and ongoing support
• Go straight to your first patient visit each day – office attendance is generally only required once a week to drop off paperwork, or a colleague can drop it off if they’re closer

• Assisting the optometrist during patient visits
• Dispensing and fitting spectacles
• Working independently while on the road
• Representing the business professionally with every visit
• Attend a mix of clinics: single, larger multi-assistant, and delivery/fitting days

• Experience as an Optical Assistant is essential
• Full UK driving licence required – comfortable and confident driving on your own
• Warm, empathetic, and patient-focused
• Looking for a new challenge away from a traditional retail setting
• Passionate about delivering eye care to vulnerable communities
