JOB SUMMARY & SCOPEAutomation Intelligence, a Peak Technologies company, Mechanical Support is responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and components used in automated equipment and machinery. This position provides hands‑on support to engineering, manufacturing, and service teams to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Mechanical Support tasks may include assembly, adjustments, inspections, and general mechanical troubleshooting in both shop and field environments.
KEYACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist with the mechanical assembly and installation of equipment, systems, and components.
- Support troubleshooting efforts on mechanical systems, identifying issues with fit, function, or alignment.
- Perform mechanical adjustments, repairs, or modifications under the guidance of engineers or technicians.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
- Assist with preventative maintenance activities and documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in work areas and during installations.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to support system testing and validation.
- Provide support during equipment commissioning at customer sites when required.
- Track and report material usage or component issues to appropriate team members.
- Perform additional mechanical tasks within skill level as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical training or coursework in mechanical systems, industrial maintenance, or related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and assembly practices.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices.
- Familiarity with industrial or automated equipment is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel or work onsite as needed.
- Commitment to safety procedures and best practices.

- Primary language used in daily operations is English. Additional primary company languages include Spanish, French, and Dutch.
- Read and interpret documents, procedure manuals and various correspondence from both internal and external.
