Overview
Croswell-Lexington Community Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate Spanish teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop a strong understanding and appreciation of the Spanish language and culture. This position requires strong classroom management, a student-centered approach, and the ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
Responsibilities- Teach Spanish I, II, and possibly upper-level Spanish classes
- Design engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom learning environment
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Foster a love for language learning
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications: Must possess a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Spanish endorsement (FF) and be certified to teach Spanish. Additional subject area endorsement preferred.
