Our Organization is partnering with a welcoming Michigan school district to identify a passionate Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full‑time position serving an elementary school community. This opportunity is ideal for a clinician who enjoys working with younger learners and is committed to helping students build the communication skills necessary for academic success, social connection, and lifelong confidence.
In this role, you will support elementary‑aged students by providing individualized speech and language services designed to strengthen articulation, language development, and functional communication skills. Working alongside a collaborative team of educators, specialists, and families, you will help create supportive learning environments where students can thrive both academically and socially.
This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact during the critical early years of development, helping students overcome communication challenges and build the foundations needed for future learning.
Position Overview:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies based on performance data.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute professional insight regarding student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support communication growth.
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation according to district and Michigan state requirements.
- The ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) is preferred.
- An active Michigan Speech‑Language Pathologist license, or eligibility for licensure, is required.
- Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills are essential for success in this school‑based role.
- Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
