Description:
Holy Rosary Catholic School in Flint, Michigan, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Math Teacher to join our vibrant academic community part time/3 hours a day. As a Catholic school, we are committed to providing a holistic education that nurtures the intellectual, spiritual, and personal growth of our students.
Responsibilities:
? Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational goals.
? Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported and motivated to learn.
? Establishing and maintaining a positive homeroom environment
? Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
? Collaborating positively and supportively with school administration, faculty, staff and parents to maximize students' spiritual, intellectual, social and physical formation
? Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to guide their academic growth. ? Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to the school community.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field
? Valid teaching certification/license.
? Prior teaching experience, preferably in a middle school setting.
? Knowledge of Catholic teachings and a commitment to supporting the school's mission and values.
? Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
