Position Requirements
Education & Certification:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
- Michigan Teaching Certificate with one of the following endorsements:
- K-5 All Subjects; K-8 All Subjects Self-Contained Classrooms (ZG)
- K-8 All Subjects (ZC)
- Early Childhood Education endorsement (ZA)
Skills & Responsibilities:
The qualified candidate will:
- Aide in research, development, implementation, and evaluation of the elementary curriculum
- Develop and implement creative and engaging lesson plans
- Incorporate practical application of content knowledge in lesson plans
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of each learner
- Develop and implement progressive classroom-based interventions
- Utilize progress monitoring
- Monitor and evaluate student development and growth through a variety of assessments
- Maintain accurate student classroom records
