Job Responsibilities:

Case Volume:
Approximately 35-50 cases per day, with the volume split between two pathologists. Certification Requirements:
Board Certification in Pathology is required. Michigan medical license is required. BLS and ACLS certifications are also required. Laboratory Certification:
The laboratory holds CLIA certification. Practice Environment:
This locum tenens opportunity offers a stable, ongoing contract for a pathologist willing to work in a hospital-based lab. The position has become available due to a gap in coverage, as a current pathologist is transitioning to another opportunity. Schedule & Call Details:
Weekdays:
Regular shifts are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. On-Call:
The on-call schedule requires the physician to be available every other week, starting from Friday at 5:00 PM until the following Friday at 8:00 AM. This includes night and weekend coverage, making it essential that the candidate is comfortable with a rotating call schedule. Patient Care:
The physician will be responsible for reading and managing approximately 35-50 pathology cases per day. The work is split between two pathologists to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
