RN - Pediatric

This is a 13-week contract position.

Nights (19:00-07:00)

The Per Diem Pediatric RN will provide care for pediatric patients ranging from infants through adolescents on a 10-bed pediatric unit. This role requires flexibility, as the RN may assist with adult patients or float to the Emergency Department when the pediatric unit is closed.

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients.
• Float to the Emergency Department or assist with adult patients when the pediatric unit is closed.
• Willingness to orient and assist on Postpartum, Special Care Nursery (SCN), and in the ED when not needed on MNCC.
• Serve as the sole scheduled Pediatric RN; therefore, this position will not be canceled when the pediatric unit is closed.
• Participate in on-call coverage as needed, with an established on-call rate.

• Minimum 2 years of pediatric RN experience.
• Active New Jersey RN license.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required.
• Availability of 2-4 shifts per month.
• Flu vaccination required (medical declination accepted with supporting documentation).
