Role – SAP Project Manager – Cutover Exp

Location – Raritan, NJ (Onsite)

Exp need – 10+ years

• Manages the set of activities performed to enable the transition from the legacy solutions to the new solutions.
• Ensures all activities required for a successful go-live are coordinated, planned and executed while minimizing disruptions to business operations.
• Activities include Technical Cutover with inputs from business cutover, change and release management oversight, Dress Rehearsals, and cutover conversion
• Develop a detailed cutover plan outlining all activities, timelines, and responsibilities
• Prepare and communicate cutover schedules and plans to stakeholders
• Refine plan based on feedback while collaborating with any stakeholder that has a cutover activity
• Select suitable tool for cutover execution that helps with a seamless transition
• Identify cross functional issues and proactively address them to have a minimally disruptive transition
• Conduct readiness assessments to ensure all systems and processes are prepared for cutover
• Own any adjustments needed to the cutover schedules and plans based on program increment progress
• Prepare and execute mock cycles of cutover which would mimic the real cutover
• Identify and address potential risks or issues related to the cutover process
• Coordinate with various teams to ensure that all cutover prerequisites are met
• Plan to ensure that the expectations of key teams such as data are aligned
• Lead and coordinate the cutover activities such as Dress Rehearsals ensuring that all tasks are executed according to the plan
• Communicate cutover status, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders throughout the process
• Manage Cross Team Issues to ensure that overall program cutover milestones and goals are met
• Ensure that all post-cutover tasks such as system validation and user support are completed
• Lead the transition to Stabilization

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 8 years of experience
• Develop and manage all aspects of the cutover effort, including definition, implementation, and maintenance of the process guidance related to cutover
• Provide technical leadership and knowledge to meet release deadlines and objectives.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on ensuring all cutover activities are executed as planned, document and communicate the status of cutover progress against plans, taking corrective action as necessary
• Ability to identify, clarify, and resolve impediments and risks concerning the technical system transition
• Ability to interact with all stakeholders involved during deployment.
• Deep understanding of SAP systems and cutover processes.
• Strong project management skills and experience with large-scale implementations
