* As part of fleet management, you will arrange and oversee the maintenance, servicing, and repair of the transport fleet
* Ensure all vehicles meet safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
* Manage fleet documentation including vehicle registration, insurance, tax, CVRT, and licensing
* Create purchase orders for fleet-related services and supplies
* Ensure compliance with local, national, and EU transport regulations
* Monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures
* Conduct regular fleet and driver audits using web-based compliance systems
* Monitor fleet performance through KPIs and reporting
* Analyse data relating to fleet utilisation, fuel consumption, and efficiency
* Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and lower carbon footprint
* Support and liaise with drivers and management on compliance and performance matters Requirements
* Minimum 2 year's experience in transport, logistics, or a related field
* Proven experience in fleet management or transport operations
* Strong knowledge of transport compliance and safety legislation
* In-depth understanding of EU Drivers' Hours Regulations and the Driver Working Time Directive
* Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
* Strong analytical and reporting abilities
* Proficiency in transport management systems and relevant software
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Full, valid driver's licence (C & CE licence would be an advantage) Benefits
