Financial Reporting Manager

Finance Manager An opportunity has arisen with an expanding insurance group for a qualified accountant to join and mentor a small team as a Finance Manager Core responsibilities will include Financial Reporting & Control :
Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual management and statutory accounts for multiple entities. Maintain robust financial reporting and controls framework, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP a plus). Insurance Finance :
Oversee insurance funds, ensuring compliance with regulations and alignment with group and carrier requirements. Monitor insurance balances and address issues promptly. Treasury & Bank Management :
Manage bank payments and execute FX trades. Tax Planning & Compliance :
Oversee all tax, regulatory, and financial compliance matters, ensuring accurate and timely tax returns. Team Leadership :
Lead and mentor a small finance team You will be a chartered accountant, preferably with a top 20 firm, and have experience in a finance manager role within industry. Ideally this would be insurance, but candidates with wider financial and professional services experience would be considered. You will combine a strong academic foundation with hands-on accounting expertise and a talent for leading teams.
