• NFL Flag football knowledge
• Coaching experience (high school head coaching experience preferred)
• Valid certifications (or willingness to obtain) including:
  • CPR/AED and First Aid
  • MHSAA CAP (any level)
• High school diploma (Bachelor's degree and teaching certification preferred)

• Program Leadership:
  Establish a positive team culture focused on character development, teamwork, and "lifetime fitness" habits.
• Instruction:
  Design and implement daily practice plans that teach the fundamentals of flag football (passing, catching, defensive schemes, and flag pulling).
• Strategy:
  Manage all in-game coaching decisions, play-calling, and player rotations.
• Administrative Tasks:
  Oversee equipment inventory, coordinate travel schedules, and manage the program budget.
• Communication:
  Send regular, important information to parents, school administration, and the athletic director.
• Compliance:
  Ensure all players meet academic eligibility requirements and adhere to school rules.
• Mentorship:
  Ability to inspire and motivate 14–18-year-old student-athletes.
• Organization:
  Strong time-management skills for balancing practices, games, and administrative duties.
• Integrity: A commitment to fair play and representing the school with professionalism.
