Body Shop Apprentice Technician

Overview

Crest Ford of Flat Rockis looking for a full time Body Shop Apprentice Technician. In this position, you will enter our Bodyshop Technician Training Program and work in a certified Ford Dealership Bodyshop. In this position you will have the opportunity to learn bodyshop repair and become a full licensed technician. Crest Ford will be supporting you in the training and providing Senior Technicians to work with.

In this position, you will get paid 40 hours per week.

• Moving customer vehicles to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility
• Wash, wax, and buff the vehicle
• Clean interior and exterior windows
• Vacuum and scrub interior of vehicle
• Utilize special purpose cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness of vehicles
• Clean and prep vehicles for paint
• Sand and rub
• Remove and install vehicle parts

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Understanding and compliance with safety rules, practices, as well as posted work rules and procedures
• Positive outlook with a high energy personality
• Ability to exercise good judgement and critical thinking
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must Supply own Tools
• Have a basic understanding of vehicles
