- Perform the responsibilities of a level 1 – level 3 auto tech.
- Perform a wide range of repairs, including brakes, drivability, steering, suspension, electrical, safety inspections, AC and major engine.
- Perform advanced diagnostics and complete repairs.
- Work with individual techs as required to assess specific vehicle needs.
- Provide general guidance, direction or train associates in supporting roles and or less experienced associates.
- Perform quality control checks on all work; notify supervisor of exceptional or unsatisfactory work.
- Ensure auto maintenance standard operating procedures and activities are conducted to deliver desired outcomes.
- Identify developmental opportunities in staff.
- Monitor workflow processes and recommend areas to improve productivity.
- Alert management about difficult issues, patterns and trends.
- Model safety behaviors and ensure techs comply with all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Train and instruct new and current employees regarding job functions/tasks expected of them when needed.
- Provide technical expertise, effective guidance, and coaching to other shop employees.

Required- Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
- ASE Certifications required.
- 5+ years of automotive service and repair experience.
- The ability to drive standard, automatic, and electric vehicles.
- High school diploma or GED.
