Interim Controller

A great client at UHY is seeking an Interim Controller. The ideal candidate will have full-cycle accounting expertise, experience leading a small accounting team, and strong general ledger and financial reporting experience.

The Interim Controller role is an onsite position. This is a consulting client position.

• Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements and proper debits and credits across all accounts
• Manage and support a small accounting team
• Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Partner with leadership to support day-to-day financial operations and reporting needs
• Utilize and oversee accounting operations within the company’s ERP system
• Progressive accounting leadership experience
• Strong general ledger and financial reporting background
• Experience managing or mentoring accounting staff
• Ability to work independently in a hands-on environment
• Experience with ERP systems; MIS experience preferred
• Available to start ASAP and work onsite
