As Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the standard of care and building a collaborative, resident-centered culture within a supportive and mission-driven team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all nursing operations to ensure the highest standards of care are delivered to residents.
- Develop and implement individualized resident care plans in alignment with best practices.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to promote ongoing professional development and effective team performance.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulatory standards and documentation requirements.
- Promote and monitor adherence to infection control protocols and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support comprehensive, resident-centered care.
- Foster a culture of respect, dignity, and open communication within the nursing team.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong proficiency in nursing management and leadership within a long-term care or similar setting.
- Thorough understanding and experience in infection control practices.
- Extensive knowledge in medicine and nursing practices relevant to long-term care.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a nursing leadership role.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Demonstrated passion for resident-centered care and quality improvement initiatives.
- Experience fostering a collaborative and positive work environment among clinical staff.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and nursing documentation systems.
- Certification in nursing administration or relevant specialty areas.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
