Overview

Operations Manager Facilities Engineering at Northern Arizona Healthcare. The role focuses on supervising the engineering operations for buildings, infrastructure, and grounds, including satellite facilities, and maintaining records required by regulatory agencies. The incumbent assumes responsibility for the department in the absence of the Director.

• Supervise the daily operation and maintenance of all buildings, infrastructure and grounds at Northern Arizona Healthcare, including satellite facilities.
• Develop and maintain all records required by local, state and federal regulatory agencies.
• Assume responsibility for the department in the absence of the Director.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED – Required
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience – Required

Experience

• 5 years experience in a supervisory role within Engineering/Facilities – Required (Healthcare – Preferred)
• 1 year experience planning operational budgets – Preferred
• 3 years experience in project management – Preferred
• Strong working knowledge of fire safety regulations, HVAC/R, water treatment, medical gases and infrastructure – Required
• Proficiency with PLCs and building automation software – Required (Apogee/ Envision – Preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret building and equipment blueprints and/or schematics – Required

Certification & Licensures

• Certified Healthcare Facility Manager – Preferred
• Certified Healthcare Safety Professional – Preferred
• Fireman s Certification/ License – Preferred
• EPA Certification – Preferred
• Medical Gas Certification – Preferred
