Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff, Arizona is a premier inpatient rehabilitation facility serving patients across the Northern Arizona region. We specialize in comprehensive rehab care for individuals recovering from strokes, traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, major orthopedic surgeries, and other debilitating conditions. Our experienced rehab team provides intensive, customized therapy programs including physical, occupational, speech-language therapy, and specialized neurological rehabilitation, all focused on helping patients regain abilities and confidence.

We are seeking a Director of Marketing & Business Development to join our team of passionate patient caregivers. This full-time, permanent role will lead the Marketing and Business Development department, ensuring full occupancy of the facility.

Required Skills:

• Three to five years of experience in healthcare, preferably in a hospital setting or sales
• Strong background in client services and relationship management
• Supervisory/leadership experience
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation
• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare field, marketing, or related field (preferred)

• Understanding of patient mix, regulatory requirements, reimbursements, and impact on hospital operations
• General computer skills (data entry, word processing, email, record management)
• Effective organizational, time management, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, confidentiality, and professional collaboration
• Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans and meet tight deadlines

• Responsible for planning and execution of all marketing efforts including public relations, marketing, and sales to ensure full occupancy of the facility.
• Manage and direct staff in the Marketing and Business Development Department.
• Provide administration with summaries and recommendations from market research evaluations.
• Coordinate the production and placement of advertisements.
• Integrate the hospital’s mission and Guiding Principles into daily practice.
