Role DescriptionPrecision Civil is seeking a full-time, paid Civil Engineering Intern for Summer 2026. This position offers practical, real-world experience in civil design, permitting, and construction support.
Role Responsibilities- Assist with preparation of civil engineering plan sets (site layout, grading, drainage, utilities)
- Perform engineering calculations and quantity takeoffs
- Support stormwater analysis and basic hydrology/hydraulic modeling
- Conduct site visits and assist with construction observations
- Assist in preparing reports, technical documents, and permit submittals
- Support CAD drafting and revisions (AutoCAD/Civil 3D preferred)
- Coordinate with project managers and design engineers
- Must be currently pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering
- Completion of coursework in Hydrology, Fluid Mechanics, Geotechnical Engineering & Transportation
- Experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with good communication skills
