Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or related field

2. Ability to obtain an Arizona fingerprint clearance card and complete a background check

Preferred Qualifications

1. Montessori certification (AMI, AMS, or equivalent)

2. Experience teaching early childhood or multi-age classrooms

3.

Experience with Montessori or Montessori-inspired learning environments

About Flagstaff Junior Academy

Flagstaff Junior Academy (FJA) is a Pre-K-8 tuition-free public charter school in Flagstaff, Arizona, serving about 400 students across two campuses in a close-knit, supportive community. Our elementary campus has 170 students in multi-age classrooms (K-5 capped at 24), while our middle school serves about 230 students in grades 6-8 with average class sizes of 15-25. FJA focuses on the whole child through social-emotional learning, project-based and experiential education, and outdoor adventure-while fostering independence, curiosity, critical thinking, and community.
