Responsibilities- Provide advanced electrophysiology services, including complex heart rhythm assessments and ablations, to adult patients in a hospital setting.
- Board Certification in Cardiology (BC or BE)
- Valid AZ Medical License and AZ DEA Registration
- Minimum of 1 year of experience performing cardiac electrophysiology procedures
- Proven expertise in heart rhythm disturbance management and ablations
- Proficiency with Abbott Ensite-X Mapping systems and Cerner EMR
- Ability to perform moderate sedation independently
- Comfortable performing TEEs and moderate sedation
- Strong knowledge of electrophysiology case logs with emphasis on ablations
- Excellent clinical and technical decision-making skills
- Nice to Have
Skills: - Experience in hospital consult settings
- Ability to perform moderate sedation and TEEs autonomously
- Familiarity with hospital equipment and procedures related to electrophysiology
- Additional certifications such as ACLS
- Preferred
Education and Experience: - Medical Degree (MD or DO)
- Board-certified or Board-eligible in Cardiology with a focus on electrophysiology
- At least 1 year of relevant electrophysiology procedural experience
- Other Requirements:
- AZ licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Certified in ACLS
- Ability to work scheduled shifts from 07:00 am to 05:00 pm with one-hour lunch breaks
- Availability for ongoing contract coverage including specific scheduled shifts and holiday coverage
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days
- Willingness to perform moderate sedation, TEE procedures, and ablations in an adult hospital patient population
Compensation for this position is highly competitive, with an hourly pay rate of $407.55. We offer comprehensive medical benefits, weekly pay via direct deposit, licensure and certification reimbursement, paid sick time, and a robust referral bonus program.
