Cardiology - Electrophysiology Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Electrophysiology Physician to provide expert care in a dynamic hospital setting. Required Skills:

• Board Certification (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Cardiology or Electrophysiology
• Arizona Medical License (or eligibility to obtain)
• DEA registration in Arizona
• ACLS Certification
• Minimum of 1 year of electrophysiology experience
• Proficiency with Abbott Ensite-X Mapping System and TEEs
• Ability to perform moderate sedation independently
• Demonstrated experience with heart rhythm disturbances and ablations (must document 100 EP cases in past 2 years)
• Excellent clinical judgment and patient communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience with cath lab procedures in a hospital setting
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
• Ability to perform moderate sedation and TEEs confidently
• Additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support or electrophysiology procedures

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Medical Degree (MD or DO)
• Prior experience performing 4-6 EP cases daily
• Experience managing adult patient populations
• Prior work in hospital-based electrophysiology departments

Other Requirements:

• Arizona licensure required or in progress
• Valid AZ DEA registration
• Comfortable working day shifts from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm with a one-hour lunch
• Availability for scheduled shifts on multiple dates, including weekends if necessary
• Willingness to bill OT at 1.5x after scheduled hours and on designated holidays at 1.5x rate
• Credentialing within approximately 30 days
• Travel and reimbursements covered where applicable
