8th Avenue Food & Provisions is a growing organization made up of businesses that produce and sell quality products including peanut butter, granola, and fruit and nut trail mixes to retail, food service and ingredient customers. The company was formed in October 2018 through a combination of Post Holdings’ private brands businesses and is owned by Post Holdings and funds affiliated with Thomas H.

Quality Assurance (QA) Information Technician Pay rate: $16.20 7pm-7am

The position, which reports to a QA Supervisor, is responsible for recording test results consistently. Additionally, this position will be required to perform miscellaneous tests throughout the plant that include visual inspections, equipment tests, and chemical tests. A large percentage of this position will include data entry.

• Ability to communicate effectively with other employees and supervisor.
• Must be able to observe process and identify problems before they occur.

• Notify Supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are needed.
• Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy while in production.

• Inform Management of ANY Food Safety or Quality issues or of any processes, which become non-compliant with specification and place on hold per HOLD SOP.
• Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety.
• Identify and record any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety.
• Controls further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been addressed.
• Have ability to work in Microsoft Office programs up to and including Office, Excel, Access, Outlook and Power Point.

Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills. Ability to interact effectively with department, company, and experience in a team-oriented environment is required.
