Einstein’s Solutions, Inc. is hiring an experienced and driven Irrigation Technician to join our growing team. This role is vital in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of commercial irrigation systems across our landscape projects. You’ll install and maintain a variety of irrigation system components—from valves to controllers—while upholding the highest standards for safety, water efficiency, and customer service. • Install commercial irrigation systems, including sprinkler heads, valves, controllers, and piping.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation system components.
• Program and adjust controllers to ensure optimal water coverage and efficiency.
• Perform seasonal services, including system start-up and winterization.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and system performance evaluations.

• Safely operate hand tools, trenchers, and power equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Follow supervisor instructions and project plans accurately.
• Assist with landscape restoration following installation or repair work.

• Comply with OSHA regulations and the company’s Injury & Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
• Utilize appropriate PPE and report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and meets regulatory requirements.

• Interact with clients in a professional manner.
• Provide insights on system improvements, repairs, or upgrades for better water use.

• 1+ year of irrigation installation and maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of irrigation system components, flow rates, and programming.
• Ability to read and follow irrigation plans and technical diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and working in all outdoor conditions.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• DOT certification required (or ability to obtain).
• Massachusetts 2A/1C Hoisting License preferred.

Full‑Time

Monday–Friday

Weekend availability may be required based on seasonal demand or project schedules

Based in Fitchburg, MA

Field‑based role supporting various commercial project sites in the region
