Step into a Day on the Finishing Floor
You arrive to a clean, well‑organized Finishing Department and pull the first job ticket. You study the layout, confirm the schedule, and stage materials. Next comes the build: you set the feeder, dial in the glue system, position plow and fold plates, align compression sections, and prepare the pack station and quality inspection systems. A test run follows—checking folding sequence, glue application, paperboard thickness, and scoring alignment—until the output is fast, accurate, and repeatable.
Throughout the run, you watch quality metrics, fine‑tune settings, and knock out minor mechanical tweaks to keep everything humming. When the last carton is packed, you complete inventory counts, document results, and perform thorough cleanup so the line is ready for the next production.
