Responsibilities
  • Maintains a supply of raw materials at each operating work cell or machine to prevent production interruptions.
  • Anticipates material requirements for job setups.
  • Reads work order and/or follows verbal instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
  • Conveys materials to or from storage to designated work cell or area.
  • Maintains inventory accuracy by conducting transactions in ERP system using bar‑code scanners in a timely manner.
  • Performs daily cycle counts.
  • Receives shipments from UPS and Fed Ex and enters data into ERP.
  • Creates Work Orders in ERP.
  • Creates pick sheets for kitting process.
  • Reports all non‑scanned material movements to Supervisor and Logistics department.
  • Attaches identification tags or labels to materials and/or marks information on cases, bags, drums, or other containers.
  • Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Requirements
  • Education & Experience:

    High school diploma or GED; a minimum of three years manufacturing experience and at least three years inventory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language

    Skills:

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to speak effectively to all employees of the organization.
  • Mathematical

    Skills:

    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume; ability to apply basic algebra and geometry; and ability to use measuring devices such as rulers, weight scales, and machine instrumentation.
  • Reasoning Ability:
    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Other Skills & Abilities:
    • Microsoft applications
    • ERP database
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.,

frequently lift or move up to 25 lbs., and occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour (Pay to be determined by the experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data).
