Part-time Nursing Lab​/Simulation Facilitator

The Nursing Lab/Simulation Facilitator is primarily responsible for teaching clinical skills, reinforcing students  clinical skills during open lab hours, and assisting with testing/evaluating students  clinical competencies. In addition, the instructor will collaborate with and provide support for the Simulation Center and Nursing Lab Manager.

• Masters Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution preferred or Bachelors in Nursing with one of the following certifications: CNE, CNEcl or CHSE.
• Current RN licensure.
• Previous experience in a nursing education program preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in mentoring students in a structured lab setting to ensure quality and safety.
• Skill in the use of medical and technological equipment.
• Ability with planning, prioritizing, and organizing clinical laboratory needs as aligned with the nursing curriculum.
• Interact with students, faculty, and staff in a professional and collegial manner.
• Demonstrate independent judgment and management skills.
• Ability to perform above duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Shift Information:
Monday, Tuesday, and an occasional Wednesday morning; hours are typically between 8:00 a.m.

- 5:00 p.m.

Salary: $50.00 per hour
