DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
- Maintain and install electrical equipment for assigned locations.
- Follow proper electrical applications, code, and safety procedures.
- Perform routine electrical maintenance and execute repairs as needed.
- Assist with electrical renovation / rewiring for plant / building projects.
- Ability to figure electrical calculations, work with single and three phase systems.
- Read and understand diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals and schematic diagrams.
- Ability to operate necessary equipment such as manlifts, fork trucks.
- Understanding of PLC programming, troubleshooting, and repair.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Vocational or college training preferred; minimum 2 years of related electrical experience required.
- An understanding of PLC / PC controls systems.
- Ability to safely work with and around 480 volt equipment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including Saturdays, if required.
- Must be able to travel throughout the assigned region, work and stay out of town, if required.
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs, frequent bending, squatting and overhead reaching required.
- Basic electrical hand tools required, specialty tools will be provided as needed.
Compensation: This position is a salary position, compensation dependent upon experience and qualifications.
