Stevanato is hiring a Department Leader for our production team at the Fishers, IN plant.
MissionEnsures the production volumes of the assigned department while respecting quality standards, costs, and the industrial plan, guaranteeing the highest efficiency and level of service.
Key Accountabilities Production Management- Runs production processes in line with QMS, HSE, CSR, maintenance, and regulatory standards, fostering continuous improvement and process harmonization.
- Executes the production schedule, managing resources, workforce, and systems to meet volumes, costs, time, mix, and quality targets.
- Monitors production performance, proposes and implements improvements to optimize efficiency, readiness, and cost minimization.
- Provides technical resolutions that reduce complaints, improve quality, and enhance capacity utilization.
- Plays out and tracks the maintenance program, ensuring on‑time delivery and supporting corrective and preventive actions.
- Guarantees that all utilities, facilities, and tools remain clean, maintained, and registered.
- Monitors departmental budget, reporting any critical issues or special requirements to senior management.
- Reports on production plan execution—time, volume, mix, quality, and cost—to senior management and local leaders, identifying and resolving critical issues.
- Plans, organizes, and develops staff, driving engagement and career development.
- Supports senior management in communicating with external stakeholders such as customers, conveying company expertise and competitive advantage.
- Communicates internally and externally to build awareness of business vision and strategy, providing feedback on external services.
- 3+ years of experience managing a large industrial department; experience in quality and/or pharma operations is a strong plus.
- Bachelor's degree required;
Master's preferred. - Experience working at a 24/7 plant is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills and experience.
