, multi‑specialty healthcare destination in central Indiana. We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join one of the nation’s most integrated healthcare systems, with over 1,300 providers in Indianapolis, IN.
Community Health Network has an excellent opportunity for a family medicine trained advanced practice provider to work at our outpatient Integrative Medicine Care location. Integrative Health APPs focus on treating the whole person, emphasizing wellness and prevention and addressing physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of health.
The primary duties and responsibilities would be:
- Assess patients using both conventional and alternative methods
- Create and implement holistic care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and prevention
- Administer therapies such as acupuncture, massage, reiki, and aromatherapy
- Coordinate with physicians and healthcare providers for comprehensive care
- Prefer a minimum of 1‑2 years’ experience in Integrative/Functional Medicine with a background or interest in Eastern Medicine.
- Must successfully complete a nationally recognized Advanced Practice Nurse certification examination or have current national certification; must maintain certification on an ongoing basis.
- Must be eligible for prescriptive authority under the criteria outlined by the Indiana State Board of Nursing; must maintain eligibility for prescriptive authority on an ongoing basis.
