Full‑time Day Shift

The Memory Care Activity Assistant plays a vital and heartfelt role in enriching the lives of residents. With warmth, patience, and genuine care, they help create a joyful and engaging environment where seniors feel seen, heard, and valued.

• Supportive Presence:
  Genuine connection with residents, understanding their emotional and social needs.
• Passion: A desire to work with those experiencing Alzheimer’s disease and other memory‑related dementia, ensuring each person lives to their maximum cognitive and physical ability.
• Teamwork:
  Ability to collaborate toward excellent care, supporting residents holistically with the care team.
• Time Management:
  Balancing daily schedules, multiple residents, and activity preparation.
• Creativity:
  Designing engaging, age‑appropriate activities that suit varying physical and cognitive abilities.

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Successful completion of a state‑approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program, or a CNA competency evaluation program, approved by the state (training may also be provided by the community).
