Pharmacy Tech

** About the Role
** To support U.S Urology by coordinating with the In-House Pharmacy dispensing activities, following company policies and procedures, to include pre-certing pharmacy benefits that meet the needs of the patient and physician.  
** What You’ll Be Doing
** Informs patient and appropriate others as to financial requirements  Considers patient rights, privacy, safety, and confidentiality in the performance of job duties and responsibilities Three (3) years of experience working in a medical practice/pharmacy  Previous experience with precertification and prior authorizations with third parties Pharmacy technician certification
** Reasoning Ability
** Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
** Computer Skills
** To perform this job successfully, an individual should have thorough knowledge in computer information systems.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  This job operates in a professional office environment.  

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
