Your Impact at SAM

Your Impact at SAM

* Assist with fieldwork using 3D laser scanners, LiDAR, drones, and related equipment

* Help set up equipment, targets, and control points at job sites

* Capture accurate scan data according to project requirements

* Transfer, organize, and manage large data files

* Registration of point cloud data

* 2D and 3D Drafting from LiDAR point clouds

* Assist with basic drafting/modeling tasks in CAD or BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.),

* Perform quality checks on data for accuracy and completeness

* Maintain equipment and ensure proper handling and storage

What You Bring to SAM

What you bring to SAM

* Currently enrolled in a program related to building information modeling, construction management, construction engineering, mechanical engineering, or architecture

* GPA of 2.5 or higher

* Strong interest in 3D technology

* Familiarity with CAD, BIM, GIS or point cloud

* Positive attitude and willingness to learn!
