The Henry P. Thompson Company is hiring a Contract Administrator for their Fishers, IN office. This position requires working in the Fishers, IN office Monday-Friday.
What you will do:- Bid Phase:
Review Job (Reed & Dodge) reports, perform initial specification review, transmit project information to vendors, prepare proposal cover letters, qualify bidders, collect proposals and pricing, and prepare bid folders for capital sales projects. - Order Entry:
Solicit profit work-up sheets, review purchase orders for accuracy, transmit purchase orders, review terms and conditions, acknowledge orders, enter orders into the Quick Base system, create electronic job files, prepare submittals, and project timelines based on vendor lead-times and job requirements. - Project Coordination/Support:
Support customers and principals by coordinating communication, transmitting documentation, monitoring project status, and assisting in issue resolution. Generate billings.
Experience:
- Prior project management or coordination experience
- Wastewater industry experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience with MS Office
- Excellent customer service skills
