About the Role:

Join Leaf Spring as an Early Childhood Curriculum Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping young minds through innovative and engaging curriculum development. We are passionate about fostering a love for learning in children and are looking for a creative and dedicated individual to join our team in Pendleton, IN.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes each child's development.
  • Collaborate with educators to assess and enhance learning experiences in the classroom.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for staff on effective teaching strategies.
  • Evaluate and select educational resources that align with developmental goals.
  • Monitor and assess student progress and adapt curriculum as needed.
  • Engage with parents and guardians to support their child's learning journey.
  • Stay updated on early childhood education best practices.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment for all children.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in early childhood education or curriculum development.
  • Strong understanding of child development theories and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for education.
  • Familiarity with state and national early childhood education standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
